Welcome to my Blog.
Darlene Davis here. I am a social media coach in training! I am truly passionate about living beyond my capacity, learning and growing each day and empowering YOU to do the same.
Without a doubt writing about yourself is the most difficult topic to commit to paper, but here are a few snippets of my autobiography.
I grew up in a small, positive ‘Leave It To Beaver’ family, got my college degree and teaching credential and sailed through several career paths. 29 days before marrying the father of my children my mother (and best friend) lost her battle with breast cancer. So at the tender age of 34 I became a new mom without the aid of my mom.
Fast forward 20 years. I was earning a six-figure income, a blue belt in tae kwon do, passionate about being a mom of two beautiful children and sailing on a friend’s sailboat whenever I could get my butt in the water.

Flip to another chapter in 2005 when I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The neurologist informed me that I had primary progressive MS, there was no known treatment for it, and he handed me a prescription for a wheel chair.
In July of 2008 I left my six-figure job and entered the world of Internet marketing. I knew how to send emails and work on accounting programs, but at that time could not have defined what a browser was. I was an elite member of the baby boomer generation, enfolded multiple sclerosis into my daily routine and faced a completely different life style.
Being one who always thinks outside the box and loves challenges, I knew this would be a bumpy, joyful (and sometimes painful) ride.
There is nothing quite like studying with 25-year-old teachers! They energize and empower you to reach well beyond your capacity. I’ve spent thousands of dollars learning, stretching, and growing in multiple directions.
In this almost year and a half I have learned about attraction marketing, connecting with family friends and business associates on Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, and all the attendant programs that bring social media full circle.
I’ve joined a new company that is growing beyond our wildest dreams. There are times when it is hard to sleep because this opportunity compels me to action and adventure! I am developing the discipline of focusing on the goal and for the first time in my life NOT being an employee.
My challenge to you is to spread your wings, open yourself to ventures you never thought were possible and ride the waves of growth and freedom. My goal is to help you do just that!
Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life!
