While there are many ways to burrow into your niche on Twitter, I’ve found a free tool that I highly recommend. Listorious offers some of the following advantages:
• Finding like-minded people
• Steps for creating more interesting tweets
• Lists you have either joined or created
• Advertising your profile and your key tags
• Ability to search over 1,000,000 top Twitter users
• An interview where you can spotlight some of your outstanding Twitter followers
• Ability to ask questions to “the experts”
• Listorious 140 that includes the Top 140: Lists on Twitter, Most Listed People on Twitter, Oldest Accounts on Twitter and Most Followed People on Twitter.
Listorious has honed my Twitter skills. What have you found useful in developing your Twitter communication? Do you have a favorite program, tip or trick that works well for you? Please share your thoughts. I’m always ready to learn a new fun method of tapping into Twitter’s goldmine.
To Our Massive Success,
Dar

What a great tool Darlene….I’ve been using all kinds of twitter sites, but none of them really gel. The only one I do like is http://www.search.twitter.com where you can find people who are tweeting about certain subjects in real time. Thanks for sharing this great tool.

Louise, The Twitter search tool is invaluable and finding people in real time helps connect with people instantly. I never use the phone book now.

Dar,
Thanks for suggesting what seems like such a powerful tool. Honestly, while I understand and use Facebook a little bit, Twitter makes no real sense to me. I’ve very slowly accumulated followers, but how to organize them and connect with them, it’s something of a mystery. I’ll definitely check out Listorious and see how it can help.
Thanks so much,
Adam

Wow Darlene great find! I’m going to have to give this one a try. I’m a Hootsuite user but this has a few more technical tools which seem quite useful.
Since using Listorious have you found your Twitter connections to be more fruitful or of higher quality?

That’s a really good question. I have found a higher quality in these new connections.
I’m still wrapping my mind around HootSuite. I know it is an excellent tool. Just wish there were more hours in a day!

I can totally relate with Cole Stan above. I still haven’t gone to fully embracing Twitter myself as I find it a bit lacking as opposed to Facebook. But, I hope to get my grip on Twitter as even my young niece is so adept at it.
